Congratulations President Elect Biden!

As we are preparing for the upcoming inauguration to install a new President and his administration, I wanted to take some time to make sure that I am clear on a few things.  I am having a hard time understanding what my own behavior should look like, so wanted to ask so as to be sure that I get this right.

Actually - I stole this from a friend on another social media post.  But it was so "to-the-point" that I had to post it here.  You see, we seem to be experiencing a great deal of, shall we say, "hypocrisy" and some severe "forgetfulness" when it comes to various sentiments regarding who gets into power in any given election cycle.

So... Congratulations President-Elect Biden and soon to be President Biden (or is it Harris?)!  With that said, I’m going to need some help from my Democratic Liberal/Progressive friends understanding how I should be acting for the next few years.  So, here are my questions:

1. Can I borrow the #NotMyPresident hashtag or was that reserved for President Trump?

2.  Who do I contact to see if Republicans are boycotting the Inauguration like the Democrats did for President Trump?

3. Do I have to accept the election results, or can I cry for four years, claiming election interference?

4. Am I entitled to see Biden’s tax returns to learn how his income jumped dramatically in one year (I mean, we all know how and why. Just show the proof)?

5. Am I allowed to trash anything that Biden says, without repercussion, because I’m just expressing myself?

6. Is there a sign-up somewhere for riots? Do organizers call me, or how does that work, since I didn’t get my way?

7. Are businesses targeted because they supported Biden, or do I just pick a business that has something I want to take home?

8. Were the thousands of businesses that boarded up for fear of riots, for Conservatives or Liberals? If they were for Conservatives, did I miss the riots already???

9. Where are the safe spaces at? Is there a map or something? I may need to go cry for a little while (because of how stupid our country has become).

10. Does all the free stuff your party has promised, just come or do I have to quit my job first?

11. What is the address you guys have been sending all that extra tax money to, since you think people aren’t paying enough in taxes? I’m sure you have been voluntarily sending in more than required...

12. When my 401K crashes, will the President Elect make up for that in give-a-ways, or am I just screwed?

13. Since Socialism is what you just voted in, if my neighbor has something I want, do I just take it or do I have to let him know I’m taking it (Personally, I have had my eye on the brand NEW Mercedes SUV, a couple of doors down ... Biden sign in yard.).

14. When gas gets unaffordable, is there an EBT card for that?

15. I have seen the gatherings of Conservatives protesting the election results, but something is wrong, nothing is getting destroyed. Did you guys go to a class for that, or could you provide some pointers on how to do it right, please?

16. The Conservative gatherings were dubbed super-spreader events, yet the protests and now election gatherings by Liberals, are not. Did you guys secretly come out with the vaccine?

17. Funny how the CDC has come up with a vaccine, soon after you were pronounced the President-Elect. Can you, all your family, and colleagues take it first, to ensure it works?

18. So, now you are the President Elect and soon to be President Biden, Is every death now on you, or is it still President Trump's responsibility, just at your convenience?

19.  During Biden's State of the Union Address, is Nancy Pelosi going to tear up the speech on national television, or did she only do that with President Trump?

20.  Since you are already a millionaire, are you going to donate all of your presidential salary like President Trump did?

I’m sorry for all the questions, this is all new to me. I want to make sure I get it right!  I mean on one hand, if a certain group doesn't get their way, they scream, throw tantrums, burn down cities, and destroy property, but that seems to be acceptable.  But on the other, another group feels disenfranchised and cheated, but then they go back to work and try to make things better next time.  Where do I fit in?

2021 Will Not Be Good For the 2nd Amendment

 Welcome to 2021, and Happy New Year.  I have been away for a while.  I was in a very difficult situation at work and had absolutely NO motivation to do anything else.  But I have forever left that toxic situation and walked into the sunset of semi-retirement.  To be honest, I think it was put on my heart to walk away from that place for a reason.  Now that the election is over, and a new, radical administration is about to take office, I will now be free to do some of the work that I think it's going to take to recruit good political candidates, and help spread the word about things in the news.

We are facing a difficult time for gun owners and supporters of the Second Amendment.  The new administration means to pass some draconian anti-gun legislation, and they're not wasting any time...

One good bill, The Hearing Protection Act, seeks to take suppressors off of NFA.  But many other pre-filed bills are going to be horrible if passed.  Sheila Jackson Lee and Al Green have gotten really bold in submitting a lot of these.  There is no doubt in my mind that Biden et al are going to immediately seek to disarm citizens.

The most anti-gun agenda in history is coming at us like a freight train.

Using the 25th Amendment Right Before Inaguration?

Ever since President Trump was elected in 2016, the Democrats have been trying to find any way possible to get rid of him.  They have tried (and failed) impeachment, they have perpetrated various hoaxes, rigged more elections, and they have even tried intimidating others into doing their bidding with violence.

Pelosi has now demanded that President Trump be removed through the 25th Amendment.

Schumer has now demanded that President Trump be removed through the 25th Amendment.

Others are now demanding that President Trump is removed through the 25th Amendment.

Why would they be doing this just days away from Biden taking office?

I'll tell you why:

It's a test of limits. It's a test of what they can get away with. If they can get away with rigging elections to get their candidate elected and ALSO get away with having him removed right before the transfer of power, what do you think they'll get away with when they try to do things to US?  Each success brings a new level of boldness.  When they do succeed with one of their tricks, and no one pushes back, that gives them the incentive to take the next step to see what else they can do.

Tomorrow, it will be more gun control, more taxes, and more suppression of First Amendment exercises.  If they aren't afraid of being resisted, then they will push their agenda farther to the left.

President Trump was right. They weren't after him all along. They are after US!

COVID 19 and the Government Response

So I went to see my doctor yesterday (not disclosing his name so as to protect him). He told me basically what we have known for quite some time now. When it comes to this COVID response, the government has spun everyone up to be ridiculously afraid of a relatively low-risk threat.  I'm an older guy, but he said that because of my good health, I am still a pretty low risk for this virus.  But the powers that be are ignoring obvious risk factors, and have spun people up to be so afraid.  People are now afraid of being near others that churches have drastically decreased attendance, restaurants are losing their businesses, gyms are closing, and we can't do our normal activities without huge amounts of hassle and inconvenience.

We are seeing more and more instances of people even getting downright nasty and violent when they see other people not wearing masks, having people over at their house, or even out walking their dogs without wearing a mask.  They have been taught, through all the government and media fear-mongering, how to comply, and even that they should be turning in others who are not complying the way they think they should be.  Don't believe me?  Go take a look at some of these extremely liberal social media platforms, such as Nextdoor, where we see daily messages from the neighborhood busybodies complaining about others.

My doctor said something that really hit the nail on the head: Our families are everything right now.  We should not be avoiding them.  Just use some common sense.  If you're not feeling well, don't visit them.  But if you're feeling well, have no symptoms, and if they are well also, then go see them.  Wash your hands more often, don't share food and drink, and just use common sense!  As we saw from some folks in a Greeley, CO assisted care facility not too long ago, those folks said that they would rather die of COVID than die of loneliness.

We've been through pandemics before.  We'll have pandemics again.  But God created us with this wonderful thing called an immune system, and our immune systems are not doing their job if we stay isolated from each other.  Look, it's not my place to tell you what or what not to do in all of this.  Just don't tell me what I should or should not be doing.
